Question by John: What are some companies or events that are willing to fundraise high school clubs in the Los Angeles area?

I need some money for my club because we're planning a trip at the beginning fo the school year. Any events would be good, such as having club members attend an event held by some company and then be paid funds for the attendance. Please give me websites and/or phone numbers to refer to. Thanks.

You don't get paid for attendance at events, and no one will do a fundraising event for your club -- they have more important issues to fundraise for, like homeless children. Usually fundraising events sell tickets to big companies, like law firms, and they give tickets to employees, and maybe underprivileged kids if it's a fun event, like a big celebrity-filled Halloween event.

Do what every other high school club does. Wash cars, bake sales, t-shirts, etc. Ask your teacher advisor for advice.
