Answer by Ally
Lessons in trust: the girl Usuri learns not to trust her old friend Pumpkin because Pumpkin was angry at her and betrays her in the end. She learns not to trust her sister because her sister got tired of waiting for her and leaves without her. She learns not to trust that older mean Geisha because she makes her write on a kimono and gets her in trouble. She learns not to trust the Baron because he takes advantage of her. She trusts the woman who is training her, and does what she tells her to do even though she doesn't know what it is for.
Lessons in Tolerance: She learns to tolerate losing her freedom and serving others and being kind to others who were unkind to her.
