The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District’s participation in the 2010 Advancing Minorities’ Interest in Engineering program came to an end as the students receive Certificates of Appreciation from Col. John Kem, district commander, August 9, 2010. The engineering interns have been working at the district since June. While here, they worked on a variety of projects and gained practical knowledge in program management, installation support, environmental engineering, construction and other areas.
